Meet Rolf Jeger, Agency Director at VOIMA.

Customer loyalty is the key to building a strong client base and one of Sendible's most successful stories of this approach comes from Rolf Jeger, Agency Director at VOIMA

We sat down with him (virtually) to find out how he's made full use of Sendible's White Label offering to package services and create a benchmark social media strategy for one of his car dealer clients.

The following conversations have been edited for length and clarity.

Tell us a bit about yourself! What do you do?

"We are a small ad agency and IT developer company for small-and-medium size businesses. Our offerings provide quite a unique mix for our customers.

We have local clients including car dealers, nutrition businesses, and even a stock exchange.

We are a company of seven people. We have a copywriter, a graphic designer, and a multimedia guy. They prepare the posts and send them to me or directly to the client for approval. We like that Sendible allows for this in-house organisation."

What were your biggest challenges with social media management before using Sendible?

"One could say we were really inexperienced at first. A client said that we need somebody to take care of our social media accounts, so we dealt with the native interfaces of Facebook and Instagram. It was so time-consuming and painful just to prepare the posts. You couldn't even schedule ahead of time on Instagram.

Then we changed to one of your competitors. And I was just not happy with the approval process so we explored Sendible.

We have many different clients and Sendible is very flexible. We have clients who do most of the content by themselves. We have clients who delegate it completely to us, and then we have one big client where they do 50% by themselves and 50% is done by us.

We send every post for approval and this process goes so well with Sendible and it was so painful before, so time-consuming. With the native platforms, the approval process was unbelievably painful and we couldn't handle the volume we are handling now without such a tool as Sendible

Plus the flexibility of Sendible is really great. We can adapt it to every customers’ needs with really fine tweaks. That's really cool."

Bonus best practise tip: Create logins for your clients

Every client has a login, but some use theirs while others don’t. We have one client who doesn't care to see their dashboard, they’re just interested in us getting the job done.

Others use their dashboards very in-depth and even ask us questions which we then have to ask your support team or our customer success manager because they are so detailed.

Editor's note: we always recommend creating separate users for each of your clients since doing provides them with their own logins and individual dashboards. This lets you better organise their content and manage reporting.

With the native platforms, the approval process was unbelievably painful and we couldn't handle the volume we are handling now without such a tool as Sendible.

What are your favourite Sendible features, and how do you use them?

"There is not just one favourite, but the feature I really appreciate is queues. The queues are just fantastic. If we’re preparing content and something new comes up, we just rearrange the content. We don't have to check the calendar or worry about double posting on the same day. Queues are fantastic, so easy and convenient. I just love it.

I already mentioned the approval process which is so helpful. Also about a year ago, you introduced the inline editing of images which is a big win. This was so time-consuming before and just stopped the whole process. It's a great feature.

Finally, the reports are good to bring up to clients and go into their accounts. There are some reporting features that are quite unique, like seeing the country of origin in Facebook. We have other tools that don't provide this information so that's really cool."

What positive results have you seen since using Sendible?

"One example is that we have a client who is a car dealer of a premium brand. Actually they were the reason we started doing social media in the first place. They now have this reputation among other car dealers of being on top of all this modern technology including social media.

The biggest competitor of a car dealer of a specific brand is not another auto brand, but a car dealer serving the same brand in the same region. So our client has a good standing in their area. They were also mentioned by their importer at their dealer events highlighting that they are a benchmark at handling social media. So this makes us proud."

What best practices would you recommend?

"One of the best practices for using a Sendible White Label is that you can adapt every detail to your needs and to what the client really needs. So make sure to use these tweaks and all the settings that you have available with the White Label.

I also recommend using the approval process. It's stable, it's fast. It just works. For me, these are the two key features."

What is your advice to others who are considering Sendible?

"You should get used to the interface and I think you need to take your clients a bit by the hand. It's not a steep learning curve, but it might be unusual in the beginning and your client needs to take that step with you so they get used to Sendible."

One of the best practices for using a Sendible White Label is that you can adapt every detail to your needs and to what the client really needs.

What have you found most valuable about having a White Label?

"First of all, when we talk with our clients, they say our brand name. They say they use our service and so this gives us loyalty and standing and credibility. That's really cool. When they have a new profile or platform to add, I can say, ‘Go to our domain slash connect and there you can connect it.’ So the whole experience is our name and our brand look.

This really increases credibility and we can sell it with a good margin because it's packaged with our services. It's so much better than just selling a third-party product. We also tell them that we have a partner in the UK, but back to your question, we have our own web page and we have our own connect page.

It gives us credibility and it allows us to charge a premium with the client for all our services. And it's just so much better for us. So if you are dealing with more than one customer or client, I would strongly recommend using the White Label."
