We believe social media is changing and we want to focus on helping marketers tell better stories.
In order to keep up with the ever-changing social media landscape, we've recently regrouped as a company to brainstorm on how we can help our customers create better connections and more meaningful engagement. We believe to be successful on social media, companies need to tell strikingly original stories that grab their audience’s attention and elicit an emotion. Our goal is to help you through this change.
That is why we’ve decided to build new features to help you amplify your stories and make you more successful. This shift of focus also means that we will be removing some older features that are not aligned with where we believe social media is heading, but don’t worry we have found an alternative for you!
From direct video publishing for Instagram to selectable thumbnails and the Image Editor - our developers are working hard behind the scenes to improve Sendible for you.
Removals and sunset features 🚨
With improvements to our tool, come changes. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to remove a handful of features to better our tool for what comes next.
Contacts and Review Monitoring
As part of our layout updates, we will be removing the Contacts section and Review Monitoring from the Sendible dashboard. These features will be removed from Sendible on March 31st, 2019.
By removing the Contacts section, you will no longer be able add contacts and build contact lists within Sendible. You will no longer have the ability to send emails and SMSs from within the tool.
Since the integrations and features listed below are rarely used, continuing to support them would mean dividing our attention away from improving functionality and innovating on features that better align with the majority of our customers’ needs.
Therefore, the following integrations were sunset on September 8th, 2021.
- Blogger & Blogspot
The following features were removed on February 21, 2022:
- Word cloud: Previously found under the monitoring section.
- Bookmarklet: The Sendible Chrome Extension or Share Button can be a great alternative if you use this feature.
The following feature was removed on April 28th, 2023:
- Content Suggestions: The third-party application that powers Sendible’s Content Suggestion tool is no longer supporting this service due to Twitter’s new integration costs. We’re currently exploring new options for content curation and we will keep you updated on any developments in this area. Learn more about this update here.
We're busy behind the scenes developing ways to improve your social media workflow. Keep your eyes peeled for any new releases on our Product Blog.
