Threads is the fastest way to build an authentic brand presence, but staying consistent without being constantly online is a major challenge.

While there’s a tremendous window for organic growth on Threads, our insights reveal that fewer than 1% of brands are consistently posting.

A missed opportunity that stems from the effort required to stay active.

We know this platform works; Sendible increased its own views by a staggering 30,000% in three months.

If you’re ready to seize that advantage, this guide shows you exactly how to schedule Threads posts using Sendible. You’ll maintain your brand’s voice, achieve consistent engagement, and keep your content calendar flowing effortlessly, whether you're managing one brand or twenty.

How to connect your Thread account to Sendible

Step 1: Access the Sendible Dashboard

  • Log in to your Sendible account and navigate to the dashboard.

Step 2: Connect your Threads social channel(s)

  • Go to Profiles > Add Profiles > Click on the Add button where Threads is displayed..

Step 3: Log in

You will be redirected to Threads to log in with your Instagram username and password.

Step 4: Don't edit access

How to schedule your Threads post with Sendible

Step 1: Open the Smart Compose Box

Open the Smart Compose Box and choose your Threads account.

Step 2: Write an optimised copy

Once you write the Threads post, you can ask AI Assist to customise it for Threads. This is especially useful if you're planning on repurposing the same post for X (Twitter) and Bluesky (coming soon to Sendible).

Remember, while these three might be similar, they all serve a different purpose and target different audiences.

Step 3: Add media

If you'd like to add media to your Threads post, you can do so by upload up to 15 images if you're looking to create a Threads carousel post.

Step 4: Preview your post

To ensure your post will actually look good, especially if it includes media, you can preview what it will look like once it goes live. To do this, simply navigate to the "👁️" next to the AI Assist button.

Step 5: Schedule post to publish when your audience is most active

Use Sendible's Optimal Times feature to ensure your post goes live when your audience is most active. This will improve your post's reach and, consequently, engagement.

Benefits of scheduling Threads with Sendible

Content scheduling is vital in maintaining a consistent and engaging presence on a new social media platform like Threads. Let’s remind you of the benefits:

Be consistent: Consistency is key to building and retaining an audience on social accounts. Social media scheduling ensures that you stick to a regular posting schedule, helping your followers and the algorithm know when to expect new content from you.

Stay trendy: Social media platforms are ever-changing, so timing matters. Missing the right moment to post can result in decreased visibility and engagement. Scheduling posts prevents you from missing these opportunities by prompting you to post at the optimal times, such as during peak hours when Threads users are most active.

Spark engagement: Posting content regularly keeps your audience engaged and involved. It keeps your brand's Threads profile in the forefront of their minds, increasing their likelihood of liking, commenting, and sharing your posts. This, in turn, can lead to more visibility and growth on the platform.

Smash content planning: Scheduling posts often encourages users to plan their content in advance and all in one place, especially if you have multiple Instagram accounts. This means you can curate and create content more thoughtfully, aligning it with your marketing goals and audience.
